All Summer Institute courses are offered for a non-credit option. Fees are specific to each course (as detailed in the course schedule). All participants who complete the course will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance for each course.
Payment Information
Payment must be made directly to the Summer Institute in full at least:
- 30 days prior to the course start date (if you register more than 30 days ahead of the course start date) OR
- one week prior to the course start date (if you register less than 30 days ahead of the course start date)
For participants paying by credit card, once you submit the registration form, the Summer Institute will send a registration confirmation email with an invoice and payment link which can be used to make a payment directly. A receipt will be provided upon payment via email.
For participants from U-M who are paying by departmental transfer via shortcode, please have the shortcode department administrator email [email protected] the information requested in your registration confirmation email. This email must be received at least 30 days prior to the course date or one weeks prior to the course start date (if you have registered less than 30 days prior). Non-payment by a department becomes the liability and responsibility of the participant.
Refund Policy:
- In the event of a class cancellation, full refunds will be issued.
- Refunds are available if a participant withdraws before the course begins. A $200 administrative fee applies.
- No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after the course begins
