Emma White has been writing survey questionnaires, mostly on public policy topics, since 2005. She is the founder of Emma White Research, an independent research agency which conducts both qualitative and quantitative research for clients including NGOs, labor unions, local governments, and political candidates. Her research explores public attitudes toward education, criminal justice, civil rights, the environment, taxes, and other key issues. She started her career at Belden Russonello & Stewart, a boutique public opinion research firm in Washington DC. Emma holds an MS in Survey Methodology from the University of Michigan and a BA in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College.
